I started some neurostimulation exercises today with the babies. These come from dog breeders and were recommended by self-proclaimed rat wrangler Traci Murdock, who is becoming my mouse mentor. So I handled each baby and held him vertically head up for three seconds, head down for three seconds, and on his back for three seconds. They are getting quite squirmy now, but they all handled it well.
My mom came over and saw the babies today as well. Jane had had enough with our shenanigans and picked up one of the biggest babies to move it away from us. Impressive. She's a good mom. She probably hates me, and I probably deserve it. But I do give her nice things to eat, so there's that.

Two photos of the babies today. What you can't see in these photos is that THEY NOW HAVE WHISKERS! They are getting a fine dusting of fur as well. These are the same hands that held the mice in our first photo. Compare:
They grow fast!
Looks like 2 darks, at least one black eyes silver and either some creams or grays. That are getting big fast.
